A Mother's Prayer!
The sunny Sun scotched hot
The tiny tots were troubled a lot
They expiated a lot of sweat
Even a grab of food they refused to eat
And denied to eat even a bit
Drank water pot after pot
still suffered unquenchable thirst
Poor mother's pleaded pleaded
The sunny Sun never yielded
Burning coldrons homes became
Dumped in burning fiery coldrons
The children bore burns scotchy
A mother prayed
O! NALAYANI1 come alive to stop the Sun
And wipe the tears of mother's and their children.
The sunny Sun scotched hot
The tiny tots were troubled a lot
They expiated a lot of sweat
Even a grab of food they refused to eat
And denied to eat even a bit
Drank water pot after pot
still suffered unquenchable thirst
Poor mother's pleaded pleaded
The sunny Sun never yielded
Burning coldrons homes became
Dumped in burning fiery coldrons
The children bore burns scotchy
A mother prayed
O! NALAYANI1 come alive to stop the Sun
And wipe the tears of mother's and their children.
